While we might be a small Club we produce one of the best specialist Magazines of all Breed Clubs. Le Bouledogue Francais is our very own gem and goes out to members twice a year (and sometimes more if we can garner the volunteer hours).
The Magazine provides photos and results from our specialty shows, feature articles on training, socialisation and wellbeing, interesting history tidbits, notices from the Committee, Global coverage on changes (and proposed changes) to legislation overseas, updated information about our health scheme, our breeder listings, statistics about our breed and how we are tracking and to top it of a bunch of humour thrown in.
We are also in the process of digitising the archive which will be available in our Member Only area.
We are moving a lot of our Administrative operations online. While it has been a bit of work to set up – in the long run it will save the Club huge amounts of volunteer time which can be reinvested in the Breed.
The most important online service is the payment of renewals and the upkeep of the database – member can now update their own information in real time.
We are also announcing a new “Members’ Only” section which will provide added support and information to members.
We hosts two Championship Specialty Shows each year ~ one in April and one in September. Our club is proud to offer exhibitors the opportunity of showing their dogs under some of the leading local and international breeder judges in the world! Over the years these esteemed judges have assessed and critiqued our dogs, bringing with them a wealth of knowledge and experience which can only help us all in our aim to breed healthy, quality French Bulldogs. This year will be no exception.
