You can’t be passionate about our breed without ensuring that the Health & Welfare of all Frenchies in NSW and by extension Australia are cared for and loved. While we do a lot of work behind the scenes our dominant public facing programs are our Rescue & Rehoming project and our Health Screening work.

Rescue & Rehome

Sometimes life throws you a curveball. We are aware that circumstances change in our lives and it can impact on your capacity to care for your Frenchie. If so we are here to provide non-judgmental help. Whether advice and support or finding them a new home – we will look after your buddy no matter what age or condition.

Health

As a whole the French Bulldog is a fairly sound dog. However, being a brachycephalic breed comes with varying degrees of challenges. One of the Club’s primary missions is to help breeders strive to produce both a quality dog that exhibits the historical structure of a French Bulldog, and a healthy dog… thereby improving quality of life and longevity.

Note to New Members: Understanding the Nomination Process

As part of our membership application, new members are required to have a nominator and seconder from within the club. This process helps ensure that all members share a commitment to the values and mission of the French Bulldog Club of NSW.

We encourage you to reach out to our club through events or online forums, where you can connect with current members. Alternatively, you can contact our membership team, who can guide you through the process and assist in finding a nominator.
