Our constitution creates the rules and requirements of our membership and you can find the clauses by downloading and referring to page 4.  Instead of having to sift through all the mumbo jumbo in the legal document let us give it to you in plain English.

The Membership is designed to be a mix of French Bulldog owners and breeders who are registered with the Royal NSW Canine Council (Dogs NSW).  There are a number of membership categories including:

  • Member
  • Dual Member
  • Life Member
  • Honorary Member
  • Honorary Life Member
  • Junior Member

Membership is annual runs from 1 July to the 30 June every year. We do not pro rata the Membership fee (it’s really too small to be practicable) but if you join after the 31 December we only charge 50%.

Once you have become a member and for as long as you remain so you are bound by the Constitution and Regulations including our Code of Ethics – so it’s a good idea to be familiar with those documents.

The Club has the capacity to review infringements of our Regulations, Code of Practice, Code of Ethics and Constitution and we can impose a disciplinary action that can result in the suspension of Membership or expulsion.

Membership can also be revoked in a number of circumstances including insanity, bankruptcy or a conviction of a serious crime.  Importantly, we also recognise cruelty to animals or a serious offence at a Dog Show.

And should you resign we will also revoke your Membership.
