Bunnings sausages raise money for rescue project

Thanks to everyone who participated in our Alexandria Bunnings Sausage Sizzle on 1 October.

We sold around 800 sausages and 18kg of onions which raised $1,970 for our Frenchie Rescue Project. We also had Frenchie visitors who very generously donated $239.

A special thanks to all who volunteered their time, energy and provisions to make such a successful day. Sheila (our new member), Voula and Phil, killed them on the BBQ, what a team! Jess Barwood ran a slick operation front of house and Jenny Roberts, Louise Mitchell, and Kerry Wade pulled those sambos together at speed. Also a big thank you to Jess’ fiancé, Joe, and Voula’s friend Liane Morris. Their assistance was integral to the great day!
