The French Bulldog Club of NSW is proud to announce the results of their 71st “Pink” Champion Show held on the 10 September 2022 at Hawkesbury Showground, which raised $4,223 for the McGrath Foundation.
Through the generosity of members and supporters the Online Auction and Donation page, as well as the Raffle on the day, allowed us to make this contribution to the McGrath Foundation and helps further their goal of ensuring every person experiencing breast cancer in Australia has access to a McGrath Breast Care Nurse.
The McGrath Foundation provided the raffle prizes, which included a Boxed Cricket Ball signed by Glenn McGrath from the PINK Test of January 2021, played at the Sydney Cricket Ground, as well as a framed pink bandana, also signed by Glenn. Congratulations to Karen McAndrew for having the lucky ticket.
The Auction included a limited edition #1 of an issue of only 10 commemorative Dartington Crystal Artwork celebrating the 2002 Centenary of the French Bulldog Club of England. Commissioned by Charles Satchell (Merrowlea and Tenafly French Bulldogs UK) and featuring UK Ch Merrowlea The Enchantress ”Emma” who (at the time) was the UK breed record holder. Thanks to Liz Davidson and Michael Rosser for donating the Artwork and congratulations to Vanessa Fulham for the winning bid.
Overall, the Show was a great success for the Club, the Breed and best of all, for Breast Cancer support. The Club would like to extend our thanks to our Judge Jenny Whitney and all those who helped stage such a successful event.
The Club would like to acknowledge the great support from their sponsors for the event. A big thank you to Royal Canin for their continued sponsorship of our specialty shows. For this show the Club also welcomes sponsorship from EAC Animal Care and Orivet.
An extremely worthwhile cause, helping many people.
